Haverhill Rovers are bidding to become the first side to win the Suffolk FA Senior Reserve Cup sponsored by Days Sports for the third time.

Rovers face Brantham Athletic in the final at Stowmarket Town FC tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7.30pm.

The Senior Reserve Cup was introduced in the 2006-07 season and Rovers lifted the cup the following season when they defeated Ipswich Wanderers 1-0 in the final and again in the 2010-11 campaign when they beat AFC Sudbury 2-1.

That second victory came just 12 months after Rovers had lost 3-2 in the final to Lowestoft Town, the only other team to twice win the competition.

It will be the final match in charge of Rovers Reserves for manager Peter Betts, with a replacement due to be announced in the next few weeks.

Admission is £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.

A souvenir programme, priced £1.50, will be on sale.

The gate will be open from 6.30pm.
