Perry Moody scored his first ever goal for Rovers in dramatic circumstances as they triumphed in this local derby.

The midfielder/defender had come off the bench to replace full back Will Gardner on 73 minutes and stepped up to calmly convert the last minute spot kick awarded for a handball by Bloods defender Ben Lawrence.

The win means Rovers have now taken seven points from their last three league matches after failing to take any from their opening four matches and saw them rise to 14th in the table.

On Saturday, Rovers are at home to Whitton United, who have taken just three points form their first four matches.
