Horseheath to hold its first ever Sunday point-to-point meeting

Cambridgeshire and Enfield Chace Hunt’s annual point-to-point meeting takes place at Horseheath racecourse on Sunday, the first time the course has held racing on a Sunday.

A record 168 entries have been received for the meeting, with the first race getting underway at 12.30pm.

The gates open at 10.30am and before the main races there will be some pony racing taking place at 11.30am.

Although the Cambridgeshire and Enfield Chace is holding the meeting, the course is maintained by the Thurlow Estate.

With the ice and snow now having cleared from the track, racing is expected to go ahead.
