Former Olympian and Chicago Marathon winner Paul Evans will be the guest of honour to start the Haverhill Running Club-hosted Kevin Henry League 5k race in Kedington at 7.30pm this evening.

The 10,000m finalist at the Games in Barcelona in 1992 and Atlanta in 1996, will also take part in the race, which is expected to feature around 300 runners.

The race will start and finish on The Meadow, where parking will be available, beside the Community Centre in Kedington.

Haverhill’s race is the fourth race out of six with the club sitting in second position at the halfway stage, following some strong results in Newmarket.
