West Wratting’s new manager Rod Gaffan is confident of beating last season’s sixth-place finish in the Kershaw Premier League after confirming four new signings, as well as keeping hold of key players.

Attacking midfielder Luke Latham has signed from Haverhill Borough, along with former Borough and Haverhill Rovers goalkeeper Tom Coombe from Walsham-le-Willows and Saffron Rangers pair Andre Ellalasingham and Phil Dillon.

Gaffan said: “With adding those four to the squad and having Ian Bluett, Adam Murphy, Jon Welsh, Jonny Martin, Callum Harrison and of course Danny Hill through the spine of the side, we will definitely be in a better place.”

But Riki Baker has left the Wratts to join Haverhill Rovers.
