Former Queens Park Rangers midfielder Stuart Wardley comes in as part of the management team at Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division side Haverhill Rovers
Haverhill Rovers have wasted little time in replacing player-manager Marc Abbott following his departure to St Neots Town earlier this week.
Stuart Wardley – the former Queens Park Rangers defender – and Dario Seminerio, who was part of Abbott's coaching staff, have agreed to team up to fill the void at The New Croft.
Forty-three-year-old Wardley will be well known to Rovers supporters, having spent three years with the club towards the end of his playing career.
More recently Wardley had been in charge of Essex Senior League outfit Saffron Walden Town, whom he departed in 2018 after a five-year stint at the helm.
The duo's first game in the Haverhill dugout will be Saturday's trip to FC Clacton (3pm).
