Seth Newman continued his fine winning streak as Haverhill Tennis Club held their third county tour competition of the season.

Last weekend’s Geen Mini Tennis Competition involved children aged 10 and under who play on a full court.

There were 12 children from all over the region who took part, which included the Suffolk’s number two and three seeds.

Haverhill were represented by Sam Fowle, Ross Turner and Lara Hopewell-Plant.

The semi-final line up saw the top seeds playing against each other, with Newman (seed one) beating William Parker (seed four) 4-0 and Seth Midwood (seed two) beating Joe Warner (seed three) in an exciting match 5-3.

Newman played some great combinations of shots to beat Midwood 4-1 in the final.
