Walden went 1-0 up in the 41st minute when Graeme Turner headed on a throw-in for defender Chris Reid to power home a header.

The visitors, who top the table after just one defeat all season, were largely in control and had further chances to add to their tally, but were thwarted by ‘keeper Charlie Turner and poor finishing.

They were made to pay in the 94th minute when Ryan Weaver got on the end of a chipped ball into the box and mishit a shot that deflected off former Haverhill Rovers defender Ben Lawrence to wrong-foot ‘keeper Floyd Croll and roll into the net.
